About Me

I received my PhD in political science from the University of Oregon in 2015. My research centers on politics and gender, gendered violence, and immigration. I specialize in the intersection of gender and immigration in the US context, with a particular focus on intimate partner violence. I also do work in feminist cultural studies and feminist theory. I have taught in the Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies program and the Department of Politics at Oberlin College, the Department of Political Science at the University of Oregon, and the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado, Denver.
